Palacký University Olomouc

The University of Olomouc, the second oldest university in the Czech lands (after Charles University in Prague), spread its influence not only through Moravia and Silesia, but also in Austria, Germany, Poland, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

University of Wrocław

Partner’s coordinator: dr hab. Tomasz Niedzielski, prof. UWr, Department of geoinformatics and cartography.

Previous cooperation with project partner: Aplicant cooperates with Wroclaw University continuously from 1994. Prof. Vozenilek has been invited as keynote speakers at several cartographic schools which were organized by Wroclaw University. In 2013 and 2015 both universities submitted joint transboundary project.

Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice

Partner’s coordinator: prof. Jaroslav Hofierka, Institute of geography.

Previous cooperation with project partner: Prof. Hofierka (from partner’s university) is related to Dept. of Geoinformatics, Palacký University Olomouc from 2005 as a member of PhD council. He reviewed several PhD theses and stayed several weeks to teach in Olomouc. He is a co-author of several joint publications with prof. Vozenilek.

Eötvös Loránd University

Partner’s coordinator: prof. Lászlo Zentai, Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics.

Previous cooperation with project partner: Aplicant has a long-term cooperation history with Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest which is based on international education exchange programs ERASMUS and CEEPUS. Both universities continue in the student exchange since 2001. In 2014, professor Zentai provided a short teaching visit in Olomouc.
